 Join us for a virtual field trip to Crystal Collection Reindeer Farm!
When: Monday, December 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. (this is a change from the orginal date of December 13.)
What: Join us on for this virtual field trip to learn about Minnesota-raised reindeer! Reindeer owners Bev Herda, Daryl and Yvonne Simon will introduce us to their reindeer - including two calves (babies)! They will share information about reindeer antlers, fur, and what they eat and drink. This virtual field trip is targeted to K-5 students.
This virtual field trip will also be streamed live on YouTube and a recording will be available for later viewing.
   
The Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom Program and Foundation recognize that first-year teachers face a unique set of challenges as they begin their teaching career. To inspire early-career teachers to integrate agriculture into their K-12 curriculum, we are offering a grant program specifically for first-year teachers.
