Magnolia Provision Company, Inc., Issues Recall

September 6, 2022 - Magnolia Provision Company, Inc., is recalling approximately 497 pounds of beef jerky products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes. 

The ready-to-eat beef jerky items were produced on August 25, 2022. The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 8091” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

Muktanand Foods Inc. Issues an Allergy Alert

September 8, 2022 - “ANKUR” Muktanand Foods Inc. is recalling its 14 Oz (400 gm) packages of “Golden Raisin” because they may contain undeclared sulfites. People who have severe sensitivity to Sulfites may run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions, if they consume this product.

The product was sold in retail stores nationwide.

The product comes in 14 Oz, clear plastic package with UPC Code 8904 1704 10327. All ANKUR GOLDEN RAISIN 14Oz is impacted by this recall regardless of the presence or absence of a batch number.

Public Health Alert Issued For Specific Ground Beef In HelloFresh Meal Kits

September 10, 2022 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert due to concerns that ground beef products in HelloFresh meal kits may be associated with Escherichia coli (E. coli) O157:H7 illness. A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for purchase.

The meal kits containing ground beef for this public health alert were shipped to consumers from July 2-21, 2022.
