Tovala Issues a Voluntary Allergy Alert

July 12, 2022 - Tovala is voluntarily recalling Gochujang-Glazed Pork Chop Bowl and Gochujang-Glazed Salmon Bowl prepared meals, because they may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these meals.

The Gochujang-Glazed Pork Chop Bowl and Gochujang-Glazed Salmon Bowl meals were distributed through Tovala’s weekly direct-to-consumer meal delivery service to customers across the continental United States who selected the meals for delivery the week of July 4, 2022. Tovala directly notified customers by email and push notifications who were shipped the affected meals, as well as disabled the QR codes used for cooking the meals.

Stormberg Foods LLC Issues Recall

July 12, 2022 - Stormberg Foods is recalling various sizes and batches of their Beg & Barker Chicken Breast Strips Dog Treat, Billo’s Best Friend Chicken Breast Strips Dog Treat, and Green Coast Pets Chicken Crisps Dog Treat products due to a potential contamination of Salmonella.

The products were distributed between June 8, 2022 and June 22, 2022. These products were packaged in branded plastic bags in cardboard master cases and shipped primarily to warehouses located in CA, MN, NC and RI. Products are then shipped nationwide to retail facilities and consumers via the internet.

Enjoy Life Natural Brands, LLC Issues Recall

July 12, 2022 - Enjoy Life Natural Brands LLC announced today a voluntary recall, out of an abundance of caution, of a limited quantity of a select list of baked snacks products due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces. The company became aware of this issue as a result of internal quality assurance surveillance.

This recall is limited exclusively to the Enjoy Life products and Best By Dates listed in the link below which are sold in retail stores and online in the United States and Canada. No other Enjoy Life Foods products are affected by this voluntary recall.

Shopaax.com Issues Recall

July 13, 2022 - Shopaas.com is voluntarily recalling all lots of Kingdom Honey Royal Honey VIP because it contains undeclared Sildenafil, the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Viagra, used to treat erectile dysfunction. FDA approval of Viagra is restricted to use under the supervision of a licensed health care professional. Use of products with the undeclared active ingredient may pose a threat to consumers because the active ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) and may cause a significant drop in blood pressure that may be life threatening. People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates.

The product comes in a golden box and contains 12 sachets of 20 grams of honey with different expiration dates stamped on the back side.

Nationwide Voluntary Recall of Natierra Organic Freeze-Dried Blueberry

July 14, 2022 - BrandStorm Inc. announced it is voluntarily recalling 2 lots of Organic Freeze-Dried Blueberry (lot # 2021363-1 & 2022026-1) pouches because of the presence or potential presence of lead above the FDA's recommended limits; per the serving size specified on the nutritional facts panel.

Natierra Organic Freeze-Dried Blueberries 1.2oz were distributed in the United States through retail and online stores services. The issue is isolated of two batches of Natierra Freeze-Dried Blueberries with the  codes listed in the link below.

Crown Prince, Inc. Issues Recall 

July 15, 2022 - Crown Prince Inc. is recalling 3 oz. canned Crown Prince Natural Smoked Baby Clams in Olive Oil because FDA testing found detectable levels of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

The recalled product was distributed nationwide to natural food stores, grocery stores and online retailers. Details of the recalled product are listed below:
