Taher, Inc Issues Recall

May 23, 2022 - Taher Inc. is recalling its 6.3 ounce packages of "Fresh Seasons Power Packs" because they contain Jif Peanut Butter, and have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. 

The recalled "Fresh Seasons Power Packs" were distributed in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin in retail stores and vending machines.

The product comes in a 6.3 ounce, clear plastic package marked with lot numbers: 135-142 on the bottom with expiration dates ranging from 5/24 to 5/31.

Coblentz Chocolate Company Issues Recall

May 24, 2022 - Coblentz Chocolate Company is recalling certain Peanut Butter Products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This recall is a direct result of the J.M. Smucker Co. Jif® Peanut Butter recall.  Coblentz Chocolate Company has ceased using Jif® Peanut Butter in production at this time. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products were distributed nationwide and reached consumers through the Coblentz Chocolate Company retail store and other retail locations.

The products included in the recall were sold between November 12, 2021, and May 21, 2022.  The specific products include lot numbers 1315-2140.

Fudgeamentals Issues Recall

May 24, 2022 - Fudgeamentals is voluntarily recalling fudge under the Fudgeamentals and Walmart brands made with Jif Peanut Butter, packaged in 8 oz. plastic containers and 16 oz. plastic trays, in response to the J.M. Smucker recall of Jif Peanut Butter due to possible Salmonella contamination. 

These products were distributed nationwide through retail stores.

Fresh Del Monte Issues Recall

May 24, 2022 - Fresh Del Monte is recalling fresh-cut fruit and vegetable products containing ready-to-eat Jif peanut butter dip due to the potential presence of Salmonella contamination. In response and out of an abundance of caution, Fresh Del Monte is recalling the following products, which were sold to retailers nationwide: Del Monte Apples with Peanut Butter (5 ounce) Peanut Butter Snack Pack (4.25 ounce), Apples and Peanut Butter (6 ounce, and 5.5 ounce), and Sandwich with Peanut Butter Cup.

This recall does not affect any other Fresh Del Monte portfolio items, which are completely safe, and not implicated as the source of this recall. The scope of this Fresh Del Monte recall is very limited as it relates to the company’s portfolio and only affects a few products containing J.M. Smuckers’ Jif peanut butter.

Bix Produce Company Issues Recall

May 25, 2022 - Bix Produce Company is recalling its 5 ounce packages of "Egg and Cheese Curds Power Box" and “Egg and Cheese Curds snack box” because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled products have a 7-days shelf life and were distributed regionally in retail settings.

The product comes in a 5 ounce, clear plastic package marked with a “Sell By” date ranging from 04/18/22 to 05/31/2022 printed on the bottom of the individual packages.

Bix Produce Company initiated this recall because it contains the Jif Creamy Peanut Butter To Go 1.5 oz. cup that has been recalled by JM Smucker Co.

Indiana Botanic Gardens, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert

May 26, 2022 - Indiana Botanic Gardens Inc. is recalling its 30-count bottles of Botanic Choice brand Prune & Senna Softgels because they may contain undeclared peanuts. 

The recalled Prune & Senna Softgels were distributed nationwide in our retail store and through online and mail orders.

The product comes in a 30-count, white plastic bottle marked with lot # 6105193 on the bottom and with a manufacturing date of 03-2022 stamped on the label.

Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. Issues Recall

May 27, 2022 - Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. is voluntarily recalling Albanese® Mini and Giant Peanut Butter Cups because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

This recall is a direct result of the J.M. Smucker Co. Jif® Peanut Butter recall.  This product was not manufactured onsite at Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products were distributed nationwide and reached consumers through select retail stores. The products are sold in bulk bins unpackaged.

Taylor Farms Retail Issues Recall

May 27, 2022 - Taylor Farms Retail is voluntarily recalling a single production day of Trader Joe’s Lemony Arugula Basil Salad Kit due to the potential of undeclared wheat and eggs contained in the kit. The product may contain wheat and eggs that are not declared on the label.

The product subject to the recall was distributed to Trader Joe’s stores nationwide.

The recalled product has the code date of Best If Used By Date June 2,2022 as printed on the package found on the upper right hand corner of the package. The Trader Joe’s Lemony Arugula Basil Salad Kit is packaged in 9.75 oz bag. The issue was identified when a consumer reported an incorrect ingredient kit.
