The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is reaching out to licensed food manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors to share two resources that may be of assistance in preparing your business to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection among employees in your facilities. You may have already received these documents from your inspector or other MDA employee. We are sending this message now to make sure all of these businesses receive the same information.
These food manufacturing-specific documents were prepared through a joint effort by the MDA, Minnesota Department of Health, and Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and provide additional information to further assess your firm’s preparedness and to help prevent the spread of illness in your facility.
There are additional resources, including COVID-19 Preparedness Plan templates, on the Stay Safe Minnesota website.
