Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams Recalls Cold Brew with Coconut Cream

January 6, 2019 – Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has initiated a recall of three batches of Cold Brew with Coconut Cream Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints because they may contain an undeclared milk allergen.

Cold Brew with Coconut Cream Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert was distributed nationwide in grocery stores, in Jeni’s scoop shops, and online at jenis.com in pint packages.

The recalled pints can be identified with the following batch codes on the underside of the pint container: 19-016, 19-086 and 19-154. The Company has likewise pulled the flavor from its scoop shop offerings.

Customers who have purchased the product are urged to dispose of the pint, and send a photo showing the batch code to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams for an exchange or full refund. Jeni’s

Purely Elizabeth Recalls Chocolate Sea Salt Probiotic Granola

January 6, 2019 – Purely Elizabeth is recalling their   Chocolate Sea Salt Probiotic granola due to a mislabeling error that has resulted in an undeclared allergen (walnuts) being present.

This recall has been initiated because it has come to their attention that briefly during production, pouches of Chocolate Sea Salt Probiotic Granola were used to package Maple Walnut Probiotic Granola. All mislabeled pouches of granola were packed into master cases labeled as 8oz Maple Walnut Probiotic Granola.

Impacted are 166 cases that include the following lot codes, which can be found on the back of the packaging:

Lot Code: OH29519 Best by 10/21/20

Limena, LLC Recalls Salvadorean String Cheese (Quesillo Cheese)

January 2, 2019 – Limena, LLC is recalling its 1 lb. blocks of Salvadorean String Cheese (Quesillo Cheese) semi-soft cheese because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled "Salvadorean String Cheese (Quesillo Cheese)" was distributed to retail stores and through mail orders.

The product has a blue and white label and comes in a 1 lb. (16 oz.), clear plastic vacuum package marked with lot #1041020 on the top. The Expiration date is blank.

Consumers who have purchased the 1 lb. block of Salvadorean String Cheese (Quesillo Cheese) are urged to discard the product. Consumers with questions may contact the company at (561) 541-5206, M-F, 8 am - 6 pm EST.
