May 29, 2019 –J Deluca Fish Company Inc., dba Nautilus Seafood is recalling fish products that were not presented for import re-inspection into the US. Additionally, the products were produced at a foreign establishment that is not eligible to export Siluriformes fish to the United States.
The frozen Yellow Walking Fish was imported on various dates from August 2018 to January 2019. The following products are subject to recall: •Varying weights of packages containing 2 pieces of “HEADLESS-CLEANED YELLOW WALKING FISH” “Clarias Macrocepphalus” “CA TRE VANG LAM SACH – CAT DAU” “FARM RAISED”. •Varying weights of packages containing 2 pieces of “WHOLE YELLOW WALKING FISH” “Clarias Macrocepphalus” “CA TRE VANG NGUYEN CON” “FARM RAISED”.
These items were shipped to distributors and retail locations nationwide.

May 31, 2019 – Johnsonville, LLC. is recalling jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage products that may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically hard green plastic.
The jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage items were produced and packaged on March 12 and 13, 2019. The following products are subject to recall:
- 14-oz. film, vacuum packages containing “Johnsonville JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR Smoked Sausage” with a “Best By 06/09/2019” date on the back of the package.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 34224” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped nationwide and internationally.
The problem was discovered when the company notified FSIS that they received a consumer complaint regarding green hard plastic in the product.

May 31, 2019 – Perdue Foods LLC. is recalling breaded chicken products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of bone material.
The fully cooked chicken products were produced on March 21, 2019. The following products are subject to recall:
- 11.2 oz. plastic trays containing “PERDUE Simply Smart ORGANICS BREADED CHICKEN BREAST TENDERS – GLUTEN FREE” with a “USE BY MAY 20 2019” and UPC bar code of 072745-001437 on the label.
- 12 oz. plastic trays containing “PERDUE Simply Smart ORGANICS BREADED CHICKEN BREAST NUGGETS – WHOLE GRAIN” with a “USE BY MAY 20 2019” and UPC bar code of 072745-001642 on the label.
- 12 oz. plastic trays containing “PERDUE Simply Smart ORGANICS BREADED CHICKEN BREAST STRIPS – WHOLE GRAIN” with a “USE BY MAY 20 2019” and UPC bar code of 072745-002656 on the label.
- 10-lb. bulk boxes of “Chef Quik Breaded Chicken Tenders Boneless Tender Shaped Chicken Breast Patties with Rib Meat” with Case Code 22143 on the label.
- 10-lb. bulk boxes of “Chef Quik Chicken Breast Strips Strip Shaped Breaded Chicken Breast Patties with Rib Meat” with Case Code 77265 on the label.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. P-369” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
The problem was discovered after FSIS and the company received consumer complaints.

June 6, 2019 – Table 87 Frozen, LLC., a Brooklyn, N.Y. firm, is recalling frozen pizza products containing pork that were produced without the benefit of USDA inspection.
The frozen prosciutto pizza products were produced from April 1, 2019 through June 4, 2019. The following products are subject to recall:
- 9.6-oz. plastic shrink-wrapped packages containing a single personal size pizza identified as “TABLE 87 COAL OVEN PIZZA Home Of The Coal Oven Slice PROSCIUTTO” with UPC code 804879558286 and 10804879558283.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 51192” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail and wholesale locations, as well as through online sales, nationwide.
The problem was discovered on June 4, 2019, when the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets contacted FSIS inquiring as to whether the plant was operating under a USDA Grant of Inspection.

June 7, 2019 – Tyson Foods, Inc. is recalling chicken fritter products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically hard plastic.
The frozen ready-to-eat chicken fritter items were produced on February 28, 2019.
The following products are subject to recall:
- 32.81-lb. cases containing four 8.2-lb. bags of “FULLY COOKED, WHOLE GRAIN GOLDEN CRISPY CHICKEN CHUNK FRITTERS-CN” and case code 0599NHL02.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-1325” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The recalled items were shipped to institutional foodservice locations nationwide and were not packaged for retail sale.
FSIS was notified of the problem on June 5, 2019, when Tyson Foods, Inc. reported three consumer complaints from schools of foreign material in the breaded chicken fritter product. Tyson Foods, Inc. distributed the product to institutions, including schools.

June 7, 2019 – The Kroger Co. is recalling Private Selection frozen berry products that were manufactured by Townsend Farms due to possible Hepatitis A contamination.
Hepatitis A is a contagious liver disease that results from exposure to the Hepatitis A virus, including from food. It can range from a mild illness lasting a few weeks to a serious illness lasting several months. Illness generally occurs within 15 to 50 days of exposure and includes fatigue, abdominal pain, jaundice, abnormal liver tests, dark urine and pale stool.
No customer illnesses have been reported to date. Kroger was informed by the FDA that a sample of the Private Selection frozen berries was tested by the FDA and found to be contaminated with Hepatitis A.
Kroger is recalling the following items, which were distributed to all Kroger family of stores across the country:
- PRIVATE SELECTION FROZEN TRIPLE BERRY MEDLEY, 48 OZ (BEST BY: 07-07-20; UPC: 0001111079120);
- PRIVATE SELECTION FROZEN TRIPLE BERRY MEDLEY, 16 OZ (BEST BY: 06-19-20; UPC: 0001111087808);
- PRIVATE SELECTION FROZEN BLACKBERRIES, 16 OZ (BEST BY: 06-19-20, 07-02-20; UPC: 0001111087809)

June 3, 2019 – Deep Foods Inc. is recalling Deep Golden Raisins because they contain undeclared sulfites.
The following recalled "Deep Golden Raisin" products were distributed nationwide in retail stores:
- 7 oz. Upc code 01143313432
- 14 oz. Upc code 011433133449
- 28 oz. Upc code 011433433457
The recall was initiated after routine sampling by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer revealed the presence of sulfites in the 7 oz. Package of Deep "Golden Raisin" which were not declared on the label. The same raisins were packed in 14 oz. And 28 oz. and are included in this recall.
The product was distributed from Nov. 2018 until May 2019 and is packed in a clear plastic bag with a white and purple label.
Customers who purchased the recalled products are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
