Conagra Brands Recalls Hunt’s Tomato Paste Cans Due to Potential Presence of Mold

April 4, 2019 – Conagra Brands, Inc. is recalling a limited amount of Hunt’s Tomato Paste No Salt Added six ounce cans. After the canning process, the final product could have been damaged, creating the potential for mold. Conagra Brands became aware of the issue after receiving calls from consumers.

The products covered by this recall were distributed for retail sale in the U.S. The specific product information is listed below.

Thogensen Family Farm Recalls Raw Frozen Ground Pet Food

April 4, 2019 – Thogersen Family Farm of is recalling raw frozen ground pet food because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The following varieties of raw pet food, packaged in two pound packs, are included in this recall:

  • course ground rabbit
  • course ground mallard duck
  • ground llama
  • ground pork

Recalled product labels did not contain any lot identification, batch codes, or expiration dates. Products were packaged in two pound flattened, rectangular clear plastic packages and stored frozen. The front of the package contains one large white square label with the company name, product type and weight.

The recall is the result of samples collected by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and revealed the finished products contained the bacteria.

Consumers who have purchased affected product should discontinue use. For questions, consumers may contact the company at (360) 929-9808.

J&J Snack Foods Handhelds Corp. Recalls Stuffed Sandwich Products due to Foreign Matter Contamination

April 5, 2019– J & J Snack Foods Handhelds Corp. is recalling approximately stuffed sandwich products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically semi-transparent plastic.

The stuffed sandwiches were produced on February 19 and February 20, 2019. The following products are subject to recall: 

  • 9-oz. carton packages containing 2 stuffed pepperoni sandwiches with “Bremer CLASSIC PEPPERONI PIZZA Hot Stuffed Sandwiches” and best if used by dates of “AUG 12 2020” or “AUG 13 2020” on the label.
     
  • 9-oz. carton packages containing 2 ham and cheese sandwiches with “Bremer CLASSIC HAM & CHEESE Hot Stuffed Sandwiches” and best if used by dates of “AUG 12 2020” or “AUG 13 2020” on the label.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 27231” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to a retail locations nationwide.

The problem was discovered when the establishment received consumer complaints.

Blount Fine Foods Recalls Ready-To-Eat Chicken Soup due to Undeclared Allergen

April 4, 2019–Blount Fine Foods is recalling an undetermined amount of ready-to-eat chicken soup products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The product contains milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. 

The institutional, frozen “Chicken & Poblano Pepper Soup” items, which were labeled incorrectly as “Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup,” were produced on Jan. 24, 2019. The following product is subject to recall: 

  • 8-lb. cases containing 2 bags of “HOMESTYLE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP” with a “USE BY 01242020 LOT 01242019 28A” lot code. The plastic bags inside the case are labeled as “Chicken & Poblano Pepper Soup” but do not identify a list of ingredients.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. P-19449A” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to restaurant distributor locations nationwide.                  

The problem was discovered when the firm received a consumer complaint.

Brian Richardson DBA “In Tha Pink” Recalls "Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee" Due to Presence of Undeclared Drugs

April 5, 2019 – Brian Richardson DBA “In Tha Pink”, is recalling ground Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee to the consumer level. FDA analysis has found the product to be tainted with Sildenafil and Tadalafil. Sildenafil and tadalafil are FDA approved drugs for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction.

The product is marketed as a dietary supplement for sexual enhancement and sold in individual 13 gram packages, UPC 9 557205 06008 3 with an expiration date of October 13, 2020 (13/10/2020) stamped on the back of the package.

The recalled Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee was distributed nationwide in the USA by online retail sites, including but not limited to Ebay and through mail orders, since September, 2017.

Consumers or retailers that have the product which is being recalled should stop using and return the product to “In Tha Pink” for a full refund.
