Labrada Nutrition Recalls Lean pro 8 Protein Powder

April 24, 2018 – Labrada Nutrition is recalling specific lots of its Lean Pro 8 Protein Powder because they may contain undeclared egg protein. People who have allergies to egg protein run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled product was distributed nationwide in retail stores and through mail orders.

The product comes in a 2.2 lb and 5 lb tub marked on the bottom of the tubs with the following lot numbers:

  • Lean Pro 8 Vanilla 2,268g (5lb) Tub. UPC: 710779112834. Lot#: 073437, 073447, 073457, 073467, 073477.
  • Lean Pro 8 Chocolate 2,268g (5lb) Tub. UPC: 710779112841. Lot#: 083747, 083757, 083767. 083777, 038748, 038758
  • Lean Pro 8 Chocolate 1,000g (2.2lb) Tub. UPC: 710779113411. Lot#: 017598.
  • Lean Pro 8 Cookies & Cream 1,000g (2.2lb) Tub. UPC: 710779113435. Lot#: 083707.

Happy Harvest Spinach Recall

Happy Harvest Recalls Canned Spinach Due to Undeclared Peanut Allergen

April 21, 2018 – McCall Farms, Inc. is recalling Happy Harvest Spinach in 13.5 oz cans as due to the potential presence of undeclared peanut allergen. This product may cause an allergic reaction in customers who have a peanut allergy.

The product is distributed exclusively through ALDI and all affected product has been removed from its stores.

The product is packaged in 13.5 oz cans with the lot code of A23IX. The best-by date is January 2021. The UPC code is 041498131289.

The product was available for purchase in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

 If consumers have product affected by this voluntary recall, they should discard it immediately or return it to the local ALDI store for a full refund.

OC Raw Dog Food Recall

OC Raw Dog Recalls Pet Food Products Due to Possible Health Risk

April 20, 2018 – OC Raw Dog, LLC is recalling one lot of pet food products because of potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled lot of OC Raw Dog Chicken, Fish & Produce was shipped to Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Vermont. The recalled products can be identified as follows:

  • OC Raw Dog Chicken, Fish & Produce Meaty Rox. 3 lb. UPC: 022099069171.
  • OC Raw Dog Chicken, Fish & Produce Doggie Sliders. 4 lb. UPC: 095225852640.
  • OC Raw Dog Chicken, Fish & Produce Doggie Dozen Patty Bag. 6.5 lb. UPC: 022099069225.
  • OC Raw Dog Chicken, Fish & Produce Meaty Rox. 7 lb. UPC: 095225852756.

All products have lot # 3652 and a USE BY DATE 10/11/18. Each bag has this information on a sticker located on the back lower left corner of the bag.

The product is being recalled after OC Raw Dog was notified that the New Jersey Department of Food and Agriculture tested the product and found it to be positive for Listeria.

Consumers who have purchased product with lot 3652 are urged to return it to the Retailer where it was purchased for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-844-215-DOGS Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm PST.

OC raw dog sardines recall

OC Raw Dog Recalls Freeze Dried Sardine Pet Treats Due to Health Risk

April 20, 2018 – OC Raw Dog, LLC is recalling Freeze Dried Sardines because the dried fish were determined to be uneviscerated and over 5 inches in length, making them a botulism risk.

This product was available for sale at Pet Specialty Stores in California, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, Texas, and Pennsylvania.

OC Raw Dog Freeze Dried Sardines are packaged in a 3.2 oz bag with a UPC of 095225853043.

This recall is being issued after OC Raw Dog was notified by the Minnesota Department Agriculture that a sample of Freeze Dried Sardines was analyzed and determined to contain uneviscerated fish 6-6 1/2 inches in length.

Distributors, Retailers and Consumers who have purchased OC Raw Dog’s Freeze Dried Sardines can return it to the location where it was purchased for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-844-215-DOGS Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm PST
