Tyson Foods Inc. Recalls Ready-To-Eat Breaded Chicken Products Due to Undeclared Allergens

June 9, 2017 – Tyson Foods Inc. is recalling several breaded chicken products due to undeclared allergens. The products could contain milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The breaded chicken items were produced and packaged from Aug. 17, 2016 through Jan.14, 2017. The following products are subject to recall:

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-1325” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped for institutional use nationwide. According to Tyson’s records, schools have purchased products through the company’s commercial channels.

June 9, 2017 – Conagra Brands, Inc. is recalling several brands of spaghetti and meatball products due to undeclared allergens. The products contain milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

June 9, 2017 – Gourmet Boutique LLC. is recalling several chicken products due to undeclared allergens. The products could contain milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The breaded chicken products were produced on various dates from February 3 to June 2, 2017. The following products are subject to recall:

United Pet Group Recalls Multiple Brands of Rawhide Chew Products for Dogs

June 10, 2017 – United Pet Group, a division of Spectrum Brands, Inc. is recalling multiple brands of rawhide dog chew products that were distributed to retail outlets and sold online in the U.S. due to potential contamination with quaternary ammonium compounds.

This recall is limited to dog chew products that contain rawhide.The following products are subject to recall:

Giant Eagle Voluntarily Recalls Select Items Due to an Undeclared Milk Allergen.

June 12, 2017 – Giant Eagle, Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of Market District Toasted Crumb Tilapia and Giant Eagle Toasted Crumb Tilapia sold fresh from the seafood department of its supermarkets, and Giant Eagle Breaded Chicken Breast sold in the prepared foods department, due to an undeclared milk allergen.

The following products are subject to recall:

Market District Toasted Crumb Tilapia. PLU 09123. Sold 3/10-6/9.

Giant Eagle Toasted Crumb Tilapia. PLU 69123. Sold 3/10-6/9.

Giant Eagle Breaded Chicken Breast. PLU 86571. Sold 6/3-6/10.

June 13, 2017 – OFD Foods, LLC., an Albany, Ore. establishment, is recalling a beef product that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically rubber.

The beef hash item was produced on Dec. 22, 2016. The following product is subject to recall:

MOUNTAIN HOUSE FREEZE DRIED SPICY SOUTHWEST BREAKFAST HASH. 3.88-oz. pouch with code 3253174 and best by date of Dec. 2046.

Loving Pets Voluntarily Recalls Dog Treats Due to Potential Salmonella Contamination

June 14, 2017 – Loving Pets is voluntarily recalling a limited number of dog treats because of the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Salmonella can affect animals eating the products and there is risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the products or any surfaces exposed to these products.

Willis Ocean Inc Issues Recall on Uneviscerated Scomber Fish

June 15, 2017 – Willis Ocean Inc., Brooklyn, NY, is recalling frozen steamed scomber fish because the product was found to be uneviscerated.

"The Duck" brand Frozen Steamed Scomber Fish comes in a clear plastic wrapped styrofoam tray, containing two whole fish inside with a red label marked “product of thailand”. The product UPC code: 040459097206.

The product was distributed nationwide through retail stores.

NOW Health Group Inc. Expands Voluntary Recall of Ellyndale® Nutty Infusions™

June 16, 2017 – NOW Health Group, Inc. is expanding the voluntary 5/4/17 recall of Ellyndale® Nutty Infusions™ to include the following products:

Roasted Almond Butter – Product Code E0545, Lot# 2124119. 10 oz plastic jar.
Mango Chili Cashew Butter – Product Code E0542, Lot# 2125156. 10 oz plastic jar.

An FDA follow-up inspection of the Nutty Infusions supplier’s facility revealed these lots have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
