Free2b Foods Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk Ingredient in Chocolate Sun Cups

Recalled Free2B Sun Cups

November 11, 2016 – Free2b Foods of Boulder, CO is recalling its chocolate Sun Cups for three specific Sell By dates, because it may contain undeclared milk ingredients.

The recalled chocolate Sun Cups were distributed nationwide in retail stores.

UPC codes are printed on the back of packages and Sell By dates are stamped in black on the back of packages.

Cedar Crest Specialties, Inc. Issues Recall on Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Monster Cookie and Pirate's Bounty Ice Cream as a Result of Aspen Hills, Inc. Cookie Dough Recall

Recalled Cedar Crest Ice Cream

November 10, 2016 – Cedar Crest Specialties, Inc. is recalling Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Monster Cookie and Pirate's Bounty ice cream flavors, bearing the following Product Name, Product Code Dates, and container sizes:

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - Code Dates: 3826, 3846, 4346, and 4326; Container Sizes: Pints, 48 oz., 3 gallon

Monster Cookie - Code Dates: 3826; Container Sizes: 3 gallon

Pirate's Bounty - Code Dates: 4346; Container Sizes 48 oz.

Products are recalled due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Ashby's Sterling Ice Cream Recalls Peanut Butter Landslide Ice Cream Due to Health Risk; This is Related to Expanded Recall by Outside Supplier Aspen Hills

Recalled Ashby's Ice Cream

November 11, 2016 – House of Flavors, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited, affected portion of its Ashby’s Sterling Peanut Butter Landslide Ice Cream. The product was made with peanut butter cookie dough, purchased from Aspen Hills, Inc., which has expanded its recall due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

Only Ashby’s Sterling Peanut Butter Landslide Ice Cream packaged In 3 gallon container with item number 7305 and lot number #16195 is affected by the recall.

4C Foods Corp. Voluntarily Recalls 4C Grated Cheese, Homestyle Grated Cheese, and Cento Grated Cheese Brands NET WT. 6 OZ Glass Jars Because of Possible Health Risk

November 15, 2016 – 4C Foods Corp. is voluntarily recalling 4C Grated Cheese, Homestyle Grated Cheese, and Cento Grated Cheese Brands due to possible contamination with Salmonella.

This recall was of a nationwide distribution and includes the following products, which were packed in 6 oz. vacuum-sealed glass jars, with BEST BY dates between November 12, 2016 and November 12, 2018 and packaged in cases of either 6 or 12 jars per case:

  • 4C All Natural Parmesan Grated Cheese (UPC 41387-33126)

Nutra Manufacturing, Inc. Announces Nationwide Voluntary Recall of One Lot of GNC Women’s Ultra Mega Time Release 180 count Dietary Supplement

Recalled GNC Women's Nutra Vitamins

November 16, 2016 – Nutra Manufacturing, Inc. (“Nutra”) today announced that it is initiating a nationwide, voluntary recall of one lot of GNC Women’s Ultra Mega Time Release dietary supplement product sold in 180 count containers UPC 048107158910, lot number 3044FQ2024, with an expiration date of June 2018 due to the fact the product may contain an undeclared major food allergen, milk.

The affected product was distributed starting in August 23, 2016 through the present and is packaged in an HDPE plastic bottle with a child resistant closure.

Sabra Dipping Company Issues Voluntary Recall Of Certain Hummus Products Because Of Possible Health Risks

November 19, 2016 – Sabra Dipping Co., LLC is voluntarily recalling certain hummus products made prior to November 8, 2016 due to concerns over Listeria monocytogenes, which was identified at the manufacturing facility but not in tested finished product. The recall includes the products listed below; these were distributed to retail outlets, including food service accounts and supermarkets, in the U.S. and Canada.

Consumers with any product with a “Best Before” date up through January 23, 2017 are urged to discard it. Consumers can find code and “Best Before” date on the lid of each package. The following Sabra products are affected by the recall:

  • Sabra Hummus Caramelized Onion
  • Sabra Hummus Classic
  • Sabra Hummus Classic with pretzels
  • Sabra Hummus Garlic
  • Sabra Hummus Garlic with pretzels

Wayne Farms LLC. Recalls Ready-To-Eat Chicken Breast Products That May Be Undercooked

Class I Recall

Nov. 18, 2016 – Wayne Farms LLC. is recalling approximately 4,059 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products due to undercooking, resulting in the potential survival of bacterial pathogens in the products.

The ready-to-eat grilled chicken breast items were produced on Aug. 1, 2016 and Aug. 29, 2016. The following products are subject to recall:

  • 9-lb. foodservice bulk cases of “Fully Cooked Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets” with case code 22121.
  • 22.5-lb. foodservice bulk cases of “Fully Cooked Flame Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets” with case code 22423.  

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 45411” or “P-45411” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail stores in Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and North Dakota.

Voluntary Recall of Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae Due to Possible Health Risks from Cookie Dough Pieces Purchased from a Third Party Supplier

November 14, 2016Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae frozen desserts is voluntarily being recalled due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination from Aspen Hills, Inc. Cookie Dough Pieces. 

This issue was identified when Aspen Hills, the supplier of the cookie dough pieces used as an ingredient in Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae frozen desserts, reported positive test results for Listeria monocytogenes. The recall is for approximately 100,000 cases of Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae frozen desserts.
