Speciality Crops Lesson Booklet

Potato Harvents

Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom (MAITC) is requesting proposals from talented individuals or teams to create a 10-lesson Specialty Crop Lesson Booklet.  This is one of four projects that are in development as part of a Specialty Crop Block Grant awarded to MAITC by the USDA.  Information on this opportunity can be found at http://www.mmd.admin.state.mn.us/process/admin/ptList.asp Reference Number: PT2434 Proposals are due June 24th.

Summer Teacher Tours Filling-up Fast!

MAITC is excited to offer two unique Summer Teacher Tours that allow educators to see, smell, hear, touch and taste the agriculture, food and natural resources that allow for our survival, while earning CEUs and graduate credits.

Agriculture Trivia

Congratulations to Neil Kruse for being the first person to respond with the correct answer to our May trivia question.  Neil knew that Spencer Wolter from Windom, MN is the newly elected 2016-17 Minnesota FFA Association President.  The other top responders were Linda Fransen and Brenda Resch.
