Impact Fund: Updated Request for Funds Forms - Required Use by June 15, 2026
Updated Request for Funds forms are now available on the Impact Fund Partner Portal under the Disbursements dropdown menu. The purpose of the updates is to clarify requirements and make disbursement requests easier to complete and review.
-
Effective date: Forms available for use today, May 28, 2026.
-
Required use: June 15, 2026
We encourage administrators to begin using the updated forms today. As of June 15, 2026, the new forms will be required. Submissions made using prior versions will be denied and will need to be resubmitted using the updated forms.
Changes across forms
-
Advancement vs. Reimbursement: Clarification of when a request is considered an advancement versus a reimbursement.
-
Dropdowns: All dropdown fields now indicate “Select One” instead of defaulting to a pre-set answer to help users make accurate selections.
-
Required Documentation: Most forms now organize required documentation into three sections:
-
All Requests: Documents required for all requests.
-
Advancement Requests: Additional documents needed for advancements.
-
Reimbursements Requests: Additional documents needed for reimbursements.
“If applicable” items are required only when those items are part of the transaction.
-
Simplified form content: Removed certain fields and questions to streamline the forms.
Form-specific highlights
-
Affordability Gap: Changes listed above, no additional changes.
-
Interim Loan: No changes.
-
Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation: Added items related to CFUL transactions.
-
School Direct Costs: Clarified guidance on how funds can be requested.
-
Tribal Indian Housing Program First Mortgage: New stand-alone form.
-
Value Gap (restructured + new required Workbook): The Value Gap request for Funds form has been significantly restructured. It includes instructions on three ways to request Value Gap disbursements (see page 2) and requires a completed whole award Value Gap Workbook with each disbursement request.
-
Value Gap Workbook: Helps determine the maximum allowable amount per unit for each disbursement and supports evaluation of both single‑unit and whole‑award value gap needs. The Workbook is designed to be completed using estimated numbers for advancements and actual numbers for reimbursements.
