Disbursement Reminders

To help the Minnesota Housing team process Impact Fund disbursement requests as quickly as possible, please ensure the following requirements are met before submitting your request:

• Waivers: Waiver approvals must be received prior to submitting a disbursement request. Please note Housing Ratios must be at least 25%. Rounding is not permitted.
• Request for Funds Form: The funding source, subsidy type and typical unit subsidy amount listed on the Request for Funds form must match the information outlined in your contract.
• Administration Fees: If your award includes an administration fee, that fee must be requested together with the unit subsidy amount on the same disbursement request.
• Complete Documentation: Supporting documentation must be submitted in a non-editable format. Documents requiring signatures must be fully executed.
• Annual Reporting: Funds cannot be disbursed for awards with outstanding annual reports. The most recent annual report deadline was February 28, 2026. If your report has not yet been submitted, please do so promptly to avoid delays in processing disbursement requests.

Green Communities Overlay Update

This past summer and fall, Minnesota Housing conducted an engagement process to inform updates to the Minnesota Overlay and Guide to the 2020 Enterprise Green Communities Criteria for Single Family.  

We are currently incorporating feedback received into the Overlay. Updates to the Overlay will be released in 2027.
