Document Updates
FHA Appliance Form
The following changes were made to the FHA Appliance Form:
- Update of the Preparer section to a fillable format
- Removal of the lender signature requirement
As of today, September 15, 2025, the Lender Toolkit, Forms Guide and Glossary and commitment system contain the updated FHA Appliance Form.
DPL and DPL Plus Resources
We updated the DPL and DPL Plus Eligibility Worksheet and the Downpayment and Closing Cost Loan Comparison Chart with the new construction housing ratio guidance. The estimated property tax after completion should be used in the Borrower’s housing ratio/DTI calculation. The forms have been updated in the Lender Toolkit and the Forms Guide and Glossary as of today.
Reminder: U.S. Bank Funding Fee Increase
U.S. Bank Home Mortgage - HFA Division announced that for new loan reservations on or after September 15, 2025, the Housing Finance Agency Funding Fee is increasing from $400 to $475. The funding fee is incorporated into the Minnesota Housing interest rate. Do not charge this fee to the borrower.
