The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless (MCH) is excited to launch the process for the second cohort of their Advocacy Fellowship Program. This is a program designed specifically for individuals who have experienced homelessness and are ready to make a difference through policy, advocacy, and community leadership.
The deadline to submit a LOI is Sunday, July 6.
The LOI helps MCH determine who will be invited to formally apply for the Fellowship. You can review the full Fellowship description and selection process here. Please keep in mind that the Selection Committee, made up of MCH staff and current Fellows, will not have any background information about you—so it’s important that your responses provide a clear and complete picture of who you are and why you're interested.
The next Office of Addiction and Recovery (OAR) monthly webinar will be held on Wednesday, June 25 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
The June session will include the following topics:

The June 11 MICH Council meeting highlighted the work being done to implement the Crossroads to Justice strategic plan. Staff and consultants working with the Department of Corrections, Department of Human Services, Minnesota Housing, the Office of Addiction and Recovery, Department of Health, and MICH spoke about how their teams are improving systems and outcomes related to each of the five bold Results in the plan, with a special focus on ensuring equity is front-and-center in all our efforts.
You can watch a recording and find the slide deck for the meeting at https://mich.mn.gov/council under “Meeting Minutes and Recordings” and the “June 11, 2025” tab.
We all have a role to play in helping to end homelessness in our communities. In the midst of immense challenges, MICH wants you to remember that we appreciate you so, so very much.
We recently posted about how honored we are to be in this good work with you on our social media. You can find it on our Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. We hope you’ll feel seen, and consider sharing the post with your own message of gratitude for your friends and peers who are committed to housing, racial and health justice for people facing homelessness.
