First Generation Homebuyer Affidavit

• Clarified requirements for the First-Gen DPL+ criteria

Optional Minnesota Housing Document Checklists

• The First-Generation Homebuyer Affidavit form is required for DPL+ borrowers using First-Generation Homebuyer DPL+ targeting criteria. Updated the following checklists to include this change:
  • Start Up: Conventional with DPL/DPL+
  • Start Up: FHA with DPL/DPL+
  • Start Up: RD with DPL/DPL+
  • Start Up: VA with DPL/DPL+

DPL+ Eligibility Worksheet

• Incorporates recent program changes. See the explanation of changes in the February 11, 2025 eNews.

Timeline:

First-Generation Homebuyer Affidavit:
For First-Generation Homebuyer Loans can be used immediately. May be used for DPL+ loans locked on or after March 3, 2025.

Minnesota Housing Document Checklists (optional resource):
For DPL/DPL+ loans locked on or after March 3.

DPL+ Eligibility Worksheet (optional resource):
For DPL+ loans locked on or after March 3.
