 Bring It Home Request for Proposals
The Local Government Housing Programs team is excited to share that the Bring it Home Request for Proposals has been released.
The Bring It Home Rental Assistance Program was created to provide rental assistance to low-income families across Minnesota. Eligible Program Administrators can apply for grant funding to provide direct assistance as tenant and/or project-based rental assistance to cost-burdened households earning 50% area median income (AMI) or less. Priority for the rental assistance must be given to households with children 18 years of age and under and annual incomes up to 30% of the AMI.
An eligible Program Administrator is defined as:
(1) A housing and redevelopment authority (HRA) or other local government agency or authority that administers federal tenant-based or project-based assistance;
(2) A Tribal government or tribally designated housing entity; or
(3) If there is no entity under clause (1) or (2) with the capacity to administer the program, a non-governmental organization (NGO) with the capacity to administer the program.
