Housing Challenge Funds for Schools Application Correction

The Housing Challenge Funds for Schools Application was revised on February 10 to correct links in the application and is now available on the Impact Fund webpage.

The following links were added:

• Cooperative unit as defined in Minnesota Statute 123A.24 subdivision 2
• Impact Fund area median income (AMI)
• RFP Application Instructions
• Impact Fund webpage
• Community Profiles for Scoring in 2024 Consolidated RFP
• Universal Design Standards
• Type A Accessible unit standards
• Homeownership Education Counseling and Training (HECAT)
• Visitable unit design under Minnesota Statute 462A. 34

No other changes were made. Applications with both the original and revised content will be accepted.

Application Reminders and Instructions:

• Follow the Application Checklist on page 11 of the Housing Challenge Funds for Schools RFP Application Instructions to ensure your application is complete.
• Each application document should be saved separately and in its original Word or Excel format. Do not save the application materials in a “.pdf” format.
• Supporting documents should be separate documents from other checklist items and can be in “.pdf” format. For example, leverage letters should be their own separate document, but all leverage letters can be combined into the same PDF document.
• Submit your complete application by attaching each separate checklist item at the same time in one upload using the Single Family Secure File Exchange (LeapFILE ^TM) to impact.fund.mhfa@state.mn.us.
