Fix Up Rate Changes October 1
The next monthly rate review and adjustment takes place on Tuesday, October 1. It is essential that lenders lock loans in their pipeline to get the current rate.
Energy Supplemental Application
The Supplemental Application for Energy Loans is required on unsecured energy incentive and Energy Loan Plus loans - it is not required for secured energy incentive loans.
The form must be filled out completely, including:
- The entire first page. Square footage of the home and whether the borrower will apply for a rebate are often missed or left blank.
- The borrower must initial the Tennessen Warning to receive the energy loan. The line for the initial is located on the second page of the application. If the borrower refuses to initial the warning, they are not eligible to receive the energy loan.
We are able to offer these energy loan options because of a partnership with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. Requirements of the partnership include reporting to Commerce who then report to the Department of Energy.
