Manufactured Home Community Redevelopment Program 2024 RFP
The Manufactured Home Community Redevelopment Program provides grants to fund infrastructure improvements or acquisition of manufactured home parks to assist the needs of aging manufactured home communities around Minnesota.
Funds are available through an annual competitive request for proposals (RFP) process. The Intent to Apply and Application expected release date for the 2024 RFP is August 12, 2024, and applications will be accepted through September 19, 2024. In order to apply for funding, applicants are required to submit an Intent to Apply by noon on Friday, August 30, 2024. If the required Intent to Apply is not received by noon on Friday, August 30, 2024, the application will not be considered for funding.
All applicants are required to register for technical assistance on how to complete an application. Applicants will be able to register for technical assistance webinars at the end August. Look for updates on the Manufactured Housing webpage.
The program will prioritize projects based on health, safety and critical need improvements, as well as projects that leverage support from local municipalities, and/or projects converting a community to a cooperative ownership model.
Eligible applicants include privately, publicly or cooperatively-owned communities, as well as nonprofit organizations acting as an intermediary on behalf of a park. The program is funded with state appropriations, as well as Housing Infrastructure funds.
