Share your thoughts with us and win coffee and bagels for your office!
We value your opinions about Minnesota Housing homeownership programs and services. Please take a few minutes to tell us what you think in our lender survey. Can we count you in? It will take just 10 minutes to share your thoughts on how we're doing and how we can improve. Your responses are completely anonymous, and we use your feedback to help improve your experience with Minnesota Housing.
As an incentive for completing the survey, we are offering an opportunity for you to enter a drawing for coffee and bagels! Please click on the drawing entry link at the end of the survey. All persons who click on the drawing link at the end of each survey will be entered into the drawing. No purchase necessary to enter. The estimated value is $200. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries. All entries must be submitted with the survey which will be open through February 13, 2024. The winner will be notified by February 28, 2024 and will be able to select the date for bagel and coffee delivery to their office.
Please forward this to others in your office - everyone's opinion matters! The survey will close on February 13.
Document Updates
Did your Minnesota Housing loan change? Remember to update the commitment system!
Loan changes - including income, number of household members or adding borrowers or co-signers to the file - can occur throughout the loan process. When changes happen, you must update Minnesota Housing's commitment system and reprice the loan as necessary. Need a refresher? Watch the Repricing a Loan recorded demo.
Visit the Loan Commitment System webpage for additional resources to help you successfully originate loans.

Reminder: 2020 Census Tract Information Updates
Minnesota Housing sets aside funds from the Start Up Loan Program to make mortgage loans to first-time homebuyers in Targeted Areas. Targeted Areas are certain census tracts in the state in which 70% of the families have an annual income of 80% or less of the statewide median income, or areas of chronic economic distress. Lenders can view a list and a map of all the census tracts in Minnesota with the Targeted Area Census Tracts document.
Lenders must determine if their Start Up borrowers are in these census tracts.
For lenders generating documents from the Minnesota Housing commitment system:
- The commitment system will determine if the property is in a targeted or non-targeted area and automatically populate the Subsidy Recapture form.
For lenders who do not generate documents from the Minnesota Housing commitment system:
