 Minnesota Housing Closed for Thanksgiving
Minnesota Housing will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving. Lenders will be unable to lock new loans between 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22 and 10 a.m. on Monday, November 27.
Start Up & Household Size
The borrower identifies who is part of their household for a Start Up loan. Not all household members are visible in the loan file, such as those who do not contribute to household finances or are not on a lease with the borrower.
Lenders must enter the household size into Minnesota Housing's commitment system. Loan officers may include a borrower's written statement regarding household size in the loan file, or use Minnesota Housing’s optional Start Up Household Size Statement form, which is located in the Lender Toolkit in Minnesota Housing's Partner Portal.
