Manufactured Home Community Redevelopment Program 2023 RFP
The Manufactured Home Community Redevelopment Program provides grants to fund infrastructure improvements or acquisition of manufactured home parks to assist the needs of aging manufactured home communities around Minnesota.
Depending on eligible and qualifying projects, Minnesota Housing anticipates funding at least $20 million in projects through this program in the 2023 RFP.
Funds are available through an annual competitive request for proposals (RFP) process. The expected 2023 RFP release date is August 14, 2023, and applications will be accepted through September 21, 2023. Applicants are required to submit an Intent to Apply by 12 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023.
All applicants are required to register for technical assistance on how to complete an application. Applicants will be able to register for technical assistance webinars at the end August. Look for updates on the Manufactured Housing webpage.
The program will prioritize projects based on health, safety, and critical need improvements, as well as projects that leverage support from local municipalities, and/or projects converting a community to a cooperative ownership model.
Eligible applicants include privately, publicly, or cooperatively-owned communities, as well as nonprofit organizations acting as an intermediary on behalf of a park. The program is funded with state appropriations, as well as Housing Infrastructure funds.
