Stable Housing Organization Relief Program Information Session
Minnesota Housing is hosting a virtual information session for the Stable Housing Organization Relief Program (SHORP) on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 1 p.m. Central Time. SHORP is a new one-time program established per Minnesota Session Laws, 2023, Regular Session, Article 1, Subdivision 33 and Article 2, Subdivision 8, and provides up to $50 million in state appropriations to support eligible nonprofit rental housing owners that have experienced significant detrimental financial impacts due to recent economic and social conditions.
The purpose of the information session is to learn about eligibility criteria, eligible expenses, funding allocation, program requirements, application processes and anticipated timing. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
