Enhanced Financial Capacity Homeownership Program (Homeownership Capacity Program) Application for Funding Reopened
Minnesota Housing is reopening the Enhanced Financial Capacity Homeownership Program (Homeownership Capacity Program) Application for Funding. Applicants are now able to respond to the Request for Proposal (RFP) until Friday, July 14, 2023 at 3 p.m. Central time.
The Homeownership Capacity Program provides resources to eligible organizations that deliver enhanced financial education and one-on-one financial coaching to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities and low-income households.
The goal of the Homeownership Capacity Program is to increase the probability of successful homeownership and household stability through intensive financial empowerment coaching and homeowner education.
We encourage new Applicants to apply and Applicants who have already applied may review and update earlier submissions. A new application is not required if a complete application has already been submitted for this funding round. The most recently received applications will be the applications reviewed.
Application Deadline and Materials
Applications are due by 3 p.m. Central time on Friday, July 14, 2023.

Register for an opportunity to learn about the 2023 - 2025 Homeownership Capacity RFP requirements and ask questions. Participation is strongly recommended but is not required.

Application Process
All documents must be submitted to the Homeownership Capacity RFP Questions/Applications no later than 3 p.m. Central time on Friday, July 14, 2023 to be considered for funding.
NOTE: Submitted applications are considered final; late applications will not be considered. Minnesota Housing may request additional information or clarification. The applicant will be responsible for all costs incurred while applying.
