Event Highlight: Twin Cities Diversity Homeownership Fair
Minnesota Housing was a premier sponsor of the 2023 Twin Cities Diversity Homeownership Fair, which took place on Saturday, May 20. WCCO's event coverage highlights the importance of collaboration between government agencies and real estate professionals to close the homeownership disparity gap.
Guest speakers included Lieutenant Governor Flannigan, Minnesota Housing Commissioner Ho, Department of Commerce Commissioner Arnold, Minnesota Housing Assistant Commissioner Schuchman, Brooklyn Center Mayor April Graves, and Department of Revenue Assistant Commissioner Sarah Bronson, who all expressed their deep commitment to promoting homeownership across the state.

Document Update - FHA DPA Commitment Form
Minnesota Housing has revised page 2 of the FHA DPA Commitment Form. This documentation certifies that the down payment loan is from an acceptable source, as defined by federal guidelines.
If you use our system to generate forms, the newest version of the form will populate when you order new documents. If you use your own system to generate forms, the updated FHA Commitment Form (version date 5/16/2023) must be used for new commitments on or after June 7, 2023.

In these trainings, we offer tips and best practices to help you successfully originate and close Minnesota Housing loans.
Monthly Update & Hot Topics Call
The Monthly Update & Hot Topics Call is open for everyone to attend, not just underwriters. During these calls we review recent Minnesota Housing updates and important information to help you originate and process our loans. Lenders are welcome to submit questions or topics to discuss on the call. This is a great venue to have more in-depth discussion on advanced topics.
