Niska applauds court ruling restoring Anoka County funding
ST. PAUL – Following a court ruling restoring funding to Anoka County that had been redirected at the direction of Rep. Zach Stephenson, House GOP Leader Harry Niska released the following statement:
“I applaud the judge for ruling against Rep. Stephenson’s ‘revenge politics’, and I hope this sends the message that no legislator should use their power as a bludgeon against their local community,” said Niska. “I’m glad our community will be free to use these funds for the projects they were intended, rather than pet projects for one legislator.”
