Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As we head into the final weekend of the legislative session, activity at the Capitol has picked up significantly. The House has been meeting on the floor frequently as my colleagues and I work through the remaining bills before the constitutional adjournment deadline. These final days of session are always fast-paced, with long hours of debate, negotiations, and votes as we work to finalize legislation and wrap up the state’s business for the year. Given the fast-changing nature of our work this weekend, I plan to have an update for you early next week, summarizing all that we accomplished in these final days of session.
