Hello Neighbors,
We have been enjoying some beautiful weather recently, which looks like it will continue into the weekend and next week (with some rain). I hope you have the opportunity to get outside and enjoy this spring, which is quickly slipping away from us in the midst of a busy season. My best wishes to students in the area who are working on final assignments and looking forward to graduation or the end of the school year soon.
We have just a few days left of the legislative session as our Constitutional adjournment date is set for this Sunday, May 17th. There is a lot still in the works as we iron out final bills and work to pass impactful legislation for Minnesota. As always, I remain committed to fighting for school safety measures, tax relief for hardworking taxpayers, and overall improvements for Minnesotan families. After the dust settles this weekend, I hope to be able to give an outline of what we were able to deliver on.
It was a pleasure to meet this class of 6th graders from Rippleside Elementary school at the Capitol. I really enjoy seeing students from our district, talking about the work we do at the legislature, and showing them the beautiful and historic State Capitol building. Thank you, students, for your willingness to visit and learn!

As I shared briefly, this weekend will bring the end of the legislative session, and our official work in St. Paul will be complete for this year. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you for my time as a State Representative. I look forward to sharing the highlights of what we were able to accomplish this session after the final bills are passed this weekend.
BTW: By the way, congratulations to our Little Falls boys and girls track and field teams for each winning the Granite Ridge Conference Championship. This is the first time the girls team has won the conference championship since 2015, and the first time since 2014 that the boys and girls have been champions in the same year. Congratulations!
