Legislative Update
Hello friends,
With just two weeks remaining in the legislative session, things at the Capitol are in their final stretch. Our focus has now fully shifted to the House floor, where the remaining work of the session will be decided.
These last days are about getting results for Minnesotans. That means working to make life more affordable, strengthening support for our schools and public safety, protecting taxpayer dollars, and advancing practical solutions that make a real difference in communities across the state. I remain focused on working through these final bills and making sure we use the time we have left to get things done.
Updates from the Capitol
Right now, most of the work at the Capitol is happening through single-subject bills moving through committees and onto the floor. These are more focused proposals that deal with one issue at a time, and this is where a lot of the actual policy gets decided. Now that our committees have almost entirely wrapped up, we are working through the roughly 100 bills that are on the general register that have made it through the committee process already.
I remain committed to fighting for school safety, better educational outcomes for our students, and affordability for all Minnesotans. We are quickly closing in on our final days for this year, and I want to get as much done as we can to make Minnesota a better place to live, work, go to school, and raise a family!

Mueller Minute
In this weeks Mueller Minute, I talk about Governor Walz's last State of the State address, which was this Tuesday. Walz flaunts record high graduation rates and fully funded schools, when the reality is that our schools are drowning in mandates and students are not reading proficiently.

Congratulations to the Southland Robotics Team at VEX World Championships
I want to give a huge shoutout to the middle school and high school Southland Robotics Teams that made it to the World Championships in St. Louis recently and had an absolutely stellar season.
At the state level, Team 7225G (Gearbots) and Team 7225F (Red 40) each earned top honors, including Skills Champion titles and the Excellence Award, securing their spots at the world competition.
At worlds, Red 40 placed 27th in their division, while the Gearbots advanced to the quarterfinals and earned the Amaze Award for consistent performance.
The program continues to give students in a small district hands-on STEM opportunities, with plans to keep building and competing at a high level.
