Good morning,
I must start by acknowledging the tragedy at Annunciation Church and School this week. This heartbreaking event has shaken the entire community, and my thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost loved ones, the students and staff who are coping with fear and grief, and the first responders who rushed in to protect and assist. In times like these, we are reminded of the importance of coming together, supporting one another, and holding our neighbors close. Please continue to keep the Annunciation community in your prayers as they work through this painful time.
Back to School
Amidst this tragedy, I know that many students in the district started school already or will start next week after Labor Day. I want to extend my well wishes to all the students, parents, teachers, and staff for this school year. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support you this school year. Good luck!
Labor Day
And as we head into this weekend, I want to wish you a safe and relaxing Labor Day. This weekend is often considered the unofficial end of summer, so I hope you are able to get outside and enjoy it before we turn the corner into fall.
