Legislative Update
Dear Neighbors,
The start of the 2025 legislative session has been rocky, to say the least. We’ve seen lost ballots, Supreme Court rulings, candidates failing to meet basic residency requirements, and legislators refusing to show up for work in St. Paul.
No matter your political views, these events have led to a loss of trust, respect, and valuable time to accomplish our role as legislators—serving our communities and Minnesotans.
Even with challenges ahead, I believe we can come together in the House Chamber to focus on the priorities I hear so often from you and our neighbors: education, childcare, healthcare, clean water, property taxes, and a responsible budget.
I am inviting everyone to attend a listening session this Saturday, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, at the Tonka Bay Caribou. Please join me to share your priorities and discuss the dynamics at the Capitol this year.
If you cannot make it, please feel free to email, call, or text me at 612-615-8444. I hope to see or hear from many of you.
