Swearing In
On Tuesday, I took the oath of office to officially begin my second term as your state representative. Serving our district is a responsibility I take seriously, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to continue advocating for you. You are going to hear a lot about Democrat and Republican leadership this session, but as one of the most bi-partisan legislators at the Capitol, I remain committed to working with all legislators to address the challenges facing Minnesota families, ensuring that we can find reasonable solutions.
First Bill: Supporting Seniors and Families
One of my first actions this session was to introduce a bill to cap property taxes for seniors. If Minnesota is going to be a great place to raise a family, that includes creating opportunities for grandparents to remain close by. Families thrive when they can spend time together and this bill aims to help alleviate some of the financial burdens seniors face. By ensuring our grandparents and seniors can afford to stay in their homes, we’re fostering stronger family bonds and building communities where all generations can make lasting memories together.
Working Together for Minnesota Families
I’m proud to continue my bipartisan work with legislators from both sides of the aisle. My focus remains on practical, common-sense solutions that address the needs of Minnesota families. Whether it’s tackling childcare affordability, improving access to quality education, protecting clean water, or making life more affordable, collaboration is key to producing sound policies that benefit everyone.
As co-founder of the Suburban Solutions Caucus, I believe in bringing people together to address the unique challenges facing suburban families. This caucus is dedicated to advancing policies that strengthen our communities while ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability. From addressing housing and infrastructure needs to supporting small businesses and improving education outcomes, the Suburban Solutions Caucus is focused on creating results-driven, bipartisan solutions that benefit families across the state. Working together, we can achieve meaningful progress for Minnesota families.
Committee Assignments
This session, I am honored to serve on the following committees:

-
Capital Investment: Supporting infrastructure projects that strengthen our communities.
-

These committees allow me to focus on the critical issues that impact our district and the entire state.
