Dear Friends,
This week I took the oath of office as the new representative of District 41A. It is an honor to represent my neighbors in St. Paul. I am grateful that my wife, Tina, and daughters Kathryn and Margret were able to join me for the swearing-in ceremony.
Prior to the start of session, I was appointed to serve on the Judiciary Finance & Civil Law, Veterans and Military Affairs Finance & Policy, and Workforce Development Finance & Policy Committees. As a U.S. Army Veteran, I look forward to bringing my experiences to the Veterans and Military Affairs Committee. We need to create the best environment in Minnesota for our government to be effective and working for its citizens. Returning the record surplus to our taxpayers in the form of meaningful tax relief will create the environment to help all Minnesotans thrive.
I look forward to providing you with regular updates throughout the legislative session. Next week, I will send a preview of the legislation I am working on. If you ever have any concerns or ideas, please don't hesitate to contact me. I look forward to serving you.
