Dear Friends,
I wanted to reach out to let you know that the Coon Rapids Driver and Vehicle Services office is currently taking appointments. The governor has issued an executive order extending expiring driver's licenses until two months after the end of the peacetime emergency, but if you would like to renew your license before then, you can now do so.
The Coon Rapids Driver and Vehicle Services office can be reached at 763-324-2100. License centers are getting over 400 calls a day, so if you don't reach an employee when you call, you can leave a message. So far, the average response has been within a day. You can find more information on Anoka County's license and passport centers here.
Both Anoka County and the City of Ramsey have passed resolutions regarding safely re-opening businesses and churches. For more information on Anoka County's COVID-19 response, you can read more here, and for the City of Ramsey, you can read the resolution here. Text of Anoka County's resolution #2020-62 can be found in their meeting minutes here.
As a reminder, restaurants are allowed to open for outdoor dining on June 1. The cities of Coon Rapids and Andover are both working with local restaurants to help them expand their outdoor seating options. I would urge you to support our local restaurants as you are able!
In this time of unrest, please pray for our cities.
Sincerely,
|
