Today is Yom HaShoah – a day when the state of Israel pauses to remember the more than six million Jews who died during the Holocaust. May we never forget the many lives lost, and may we never stop fighting against antisemitism. Today we remember that evil cannot extinguish hope, and hate cannot wipe out love.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, observations this year will be entirely online. To view Yad Vashem’s broadcast of the Holocaust Remembrance Day Opening Ceremony, you can visit their website here: https://www.yadvashem.org/yv/en/remembrance/2020/broadcast.asp
