Dear Friends,
I am so encouraged by how our community is banding together during this difficult time. Many of people have asked how they can help our frontline workers and our community during the COVID-19 crisis, so below I've listed a couple of ways we can all help below.
Donate PPE
Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids is collecting personal protective equipment (PPE) through April 5th. They are looking for donations of face masks, commercially-made lab coats, gloves, gowns, face shields, shoe covers, and any other PPE items. Collection events run through Sunday, April 5th from 9am to 1pm. To arrange donations on a pallet, please email CaringForCaregivers@allina.com.
Send Notes to our Caregivers
We want our caregivers and frontline workers to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. If you have a moment, please write them an encouraging note!
Support Local Business
Our local businesses are struggling during this difficult time, and many have had to drastically change the way they do business to stay afloat. During this time especially, I would encourage you to shop local and continue to support local restaurants by getting takeout or delivery.
