On August 1, a new slate of laws will be enacted. New laws range from making it more difficult to sell stolen catalytic converters, to criminalizing creation of sex-related deep fake activity, to requiring firearms background checks. Other laws will also take effect, including measures related to bicyclists, worker safety, and several items related to the legalization of adult use cannabis.

The filing deadline for your 2022 property tax refund is Tuesday, August 15. You can find more information by going to the Minnesota Department of Revenue website here.
