Elevate Hennepin is Hennepin County's initiative to help businesses start and grow.
Tamara Dahlvang, Elevate Hennepin advisor, certified public accountant (CPA) and founder of Small Business Dreambuilders, says, “Accounting uncovers everything.”
As too many business owners know, accounting sits somewhere between an afterthought and a source of stress. But Tamara prides herself on getting entrepreneurs to build their capacity for finances and truly understand their numbers. When they do, they can make better decisions and avoid a lot of surprise setbacks.
As COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loan (COVID EIDL) borrowers move deeper into the repayment period, many business owners are beginning to receive reminder letters from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). These notices are part of SBA’s effort to ensure borrowers remain aware of their repayment responsibilities now that the original 30‑month deferment period has ended.
