Thank YOU for a wonderful year
It was an incredible year for Elevate Hennepin and one that wouldn’t be possible without the support from our talented, diverse, collaborative, and inspiring business community!
A special thank you goes out to our Elevate Hennepin advisor community. This group of experts provided thousands of hours of support last year and helped the business community grow and evolve.
We think 2025 will be even better, and we’re eager to share some of our new opportunities and remind you of all the resources inside Elevate Hennepin.
By investing in business owners, Hennepin County is building a foundation to create a more inclusive and thriving economy that strengthens communities.

Elevate Hennepin was designed to evolve to meet the needs of the Hennepin County business community.
The team saw a need for more actionable and approachable guidance for idea-stage companies. To support new entrepreneurs with foundational questions, Elevate Hennepin will offer three new services.
Getting Started
This monthly online training offers idea-stage guidance to create a solid business plan. Built on the CEO Start CO.STARTER curriculum, this three-hour workshop helps participants work together to explore their ideas through the Business Model Canvas, learn how to refine their ideas through meaningful discussion, customer feedback, and define the next best steps.
CEO Start Bootcamp
Building on the successful CEO Start group-learning opportunity, CEO Start Bootcamp condenses the 10-week program into an intensive two-day training. This bootcamp will bring together idea-stage peers to work through key points of the CO.STARTERS curriculum that is designed to help entrepreneurs validate their business idea with research, collaboration, and expert insight.
Idea-stage advising
In 2025, Elevate Hennepin will also feature advisors dedicated to supporting idea-stage entrepreneurs with focused guidance to start their venture right through 15 hours of no-cost support and mentoring.
Next year will be another exciting year for all our existing business-support efforts. From advising to group learning and our hub of resources for your business or idea.
New and established advisors are ready to offer no-cost consulting for all manner of business challenge or opportunity. Business owners and entrepreneurs can find expert business guidance for accounting, access to capital, financial management, business strategy, legal guidance, marketing, technology, human resources, and getting essential certifications.
This 10-week group-learning opportunity offers aspiring and existing entrepreneurs tools to turn their ideas into viable businesses. Participants walk away with business fundamentals, access to resources, a community of support, and the confidence to move forward with their idea.
This opportunity supports established, growth-minded business owners with guidance to build and strengthen systems to keep their businesses growing. Participants who complete the training will walk away with a three- to five-year strategic roadmap, a network of peers, and the technical skills to keep growing their business.
