Ini Augustine, founder of Technologist Computers
Figuring out business technology can be an all-consuming activity, but Elevate Hennepin advisor Ini Augustine, founder of Technologist Computers, says there are some best practices to get ahead and keep up with tech.
She often asks clients to make a list of what technology is already being used and see how to use it to the fullest potential.
“In some situations, you genuinely do need that new thing,” said Ini. “But for the vast majority of businesses, we're paying for three or four subscriptions that do the same thing. We just didn't know.”

Victor Hwang speaking to Hennepin County entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurship can act as a catalyst for economic growth, innovation, and personal empowerment. Yet, as Right to Start founder Victor Hwang highlights, there are numerous barriers for entrepreneurs.
Victor joined economic development leaders from Hennepin County, the State of Minnesota, and Edina at a recent event hosting by Elevate Hennepin during his cross-country road trip exploring entrepreneurship and barriers for business owners. Addressing these barriers is critical to fostering a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem.
"Business is hard," Victor said, but there are leaders like Hennepin County improving the odds.
