Hennepin Health, a health plan affiliated with Hennepin County, is excited to launch its first blog, focusing on its work that goes beyond day-to-day health plan operations. Part of Hennepin Health’s mission includes strengthening health care in the communities it serves through funding innovative programs and projects that focus on improving outcomes and care experiences for Hennepin County residents. The innovation blog shares stories about the programs and activities that these funds help support, as well as the people who lead them.
Some of the programs recently covered in the blog include the culturally responsive model of psychiatric care for Somali, East African, and other Muslim patients and the Access Clinic, a clinic serving patients with unique needs.
