Be a zero waste liaison for the Zero Waste Challenge
The Zero Waste Challenge is looking for up to 10 enthusiastic CRAs to serve as household liaisons for the 2024 round. This volunteer position runs from September 2024 through April 2025 and can help you complete most (or even all) of your volunteer hours. Hours are mostly flexible and virtual.
The role of a liaison is to work one-on-one with residents to answer recycling and composting questions, mentor them with their waste prevention goals, collect data about their progress, and provide reminders and accountability. Training and ongoing support is provided. Submit your interest using this form by August 31. Contact Amy Maas (amy.maas@hennepin.us) with questions.
