At the State of the County address Friday morning, Hennepin County Board Chair Commissioner Fernando detailed how the county has found success responding proactively to challenges in multiple areas, and how the county will continue responding to key issues.  

Chair Fernando also discussed the importance of community involvement in government, and how she plans to prioritize greater opportunities for collaboration between the county, cities, and community and non-profit organizations.  

This year, the event was hosted at the 625 Building Auditorium with people attending virtually by viewing the livestream or at an in-person satellite location across the county.
