We want to help you avoid losing your health insurance and creating possible disruptions in seeing your doctor or filling a prescription. You should have received a packet in the mail recently from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) about how to renew your Medical Assistance. Look for the envelope with a blue circle marked "Important information enclosed." Return the requested materials by the deadline to prevent losing your health care with us. You can keep your Hennepin Health plan.
We’re here to help
If you didn’t receive your packet in the mail from DHS, contact us to:
- Help you update your address.
- Help you get mailed a new packet.
- Answer questions about your coverage.
Need help completing the paperwork? Find a MNsure navigator or call our Member Services at 612-596-1036, TTY 711. Eligible members can get a free ride to your navigator appointment by calling Member Services at 612-596-1036.
This is different from the annual health plan selection
Your member eligibility renewal is different from the annual health plan selection (AHPS); they are two separate things.
AHPS is an opportunity for you to change your health plan if you want. The AHPS period ended in early December.
