Monday 6:00 pm: Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office to hold Promotions and Awards Ceremony
November 10, 2023 (MINNEAPOLIS) - On Monday, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office will hold its Promotions and Awards Ceremony. During the ceremony several members of the office will be recognized for their outstanding achievements and accomplishments over the course of the last year. Two members of the public will also be recognized with the Sheriff’s Distinguished Service Award. In addition to swearing in several detention deputies and licensed deputies, six K9s will be officially sworn in; the K9s have all joined the Sheriff’s Office since 2020.
