Drop by this Thursday, September 14, between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for Hauler appreciation day at HERC, where we celebrate the people who pick up and dispose of our waste and recycling every day, come rain, snow or shine.
We appreciate our network of more than 100 vendor and hauler partners year-round, and this September we would like to take the time to say an extra thank you for all the work they are doing to keep our communities clean and safe.
Thursday, September 14 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch provided Location: The hauler appreciation tent will be set up on the grass next to the cooling tower at HERC.
HERC is planning their fall maintenance outage work between October 15 through November 4. We are expecting to be able to receive waste deliveries during normal operating hours for the duration of the maintenance outage. These dates are subject to change.

If you are repeatedly seeing customers set out large amounts of cardboard on your commercial trash routes, county business recycling staff can work with your customers to identify recycling options. Contact the Hennepin County Business Recycling team at businessrecycling@hennepin.us or 612-543-9298 for more information.
