Skills and resources for digital transformation

The digital economy is here, and business leaders need to understand what that means for their business. Tech Essentials, a new offering from Elevate Hennepin^SM, is designed to help business owners understand technology and innovate with efficient, digital tools.

This opportunity offers one-on-one advising and two intensive cohorts. Both cohorts include up to $1,500 in reimbursements for technology investments.

In the DIY Web Essentials cohort, from advisor Asian Media Access (AMA), business leaders can learn how to build, manage, and market a website themselves.

“This technology is essential,” said AMA executive director Ange Hwang. “We want people to have a transformational opportunity for their business.”

In the Tech Stack cohort, advisor Neighborhood Development Center (NDC), business leaders can get an individual needs assessment to help identify and integrate a point of sale system, build a business website, and develop a customer database.

“Business owners can come together and stay in front of those evolving technology areas,” said Julia Eckart, a marketing and branding advisor at NDC.

Both Tech Essentials cohorts are available at no cost for eligible Hennepin County entrepreneurs as part of the county’s ongoing investments in Elevate Hennepin^SM.
