Monthly Newsletter HCSO Happenings Available Now
August 11, 2023 (Minneapolis) - The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) recently launched HCSO Happenings, a new public-facing monthly newsletter. The purpose of this publication is to give the public more insight into the people and operations of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
"HCSO is a large and diverse agency. Most people don’t know about our various roles and responsibilities in the public safety system, and even fewer know about the great individuals who take on these tasks each and every day. With this publication, we hope to change that," said Sheriff Dawanna Witt. "One of my goals as Sheriff is to find new ways to communicate with the public that we serve. HCSO Happenings should prove to be a valuable tool.
Every issue of HCSO Happenings includes stories about significant accomplishments from our staff that were achieved in the course of their regular duties, and times when they went above and beyond. The newsletter will also include educational information and data about agency operations, job openings, videos, and much more.
